Who Are We?

 

We’re a husband-and-wife team - products of the 80s and 90s - who are on a mission to curate the ultimate unboxing experience for the next generation.

​

We were raised by Optimus Prime, trained by the X-Men, and taught creativity by LEGO bricks. We know that the best graphics engine in the world is still a kid’s imagination.

​

We are constantly enforcing sanctions on our own two kids about the amount of time spent on tablets and YouTube, and love nothing more than watching them get hands on with an old-school action figure, doll or car.

Our Mission: No Screens. Just Epic Play.

 

Toykick isn’t just a store; it’s a tactical strike against boredom. We are the gatekeepers. We hand-pick every single item that goes into our boxes with a strict criteria:

• 100% Analog, 0% Wifi: If it needs an internet connection to be fun, it doesn't go in the box. We are bringing back tactile, hands-on play.

• Curated by Us: We filter out the cheap plastic. We hunt for the figures, the gear, and the merch that we know our own kids would scream about (and that we secretly want for ourselves).

• The Unboxing Experience: We know the reveal is half the fun. We pack our boxes to maximise the hype from the moment the tape is cut.
